Dear Friend,

Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. Habakkuk 3:18 (NKJ)
I’ve been thinking a lot about this scripture lately. That first year I was born again, I believed so simply, so easily, without question, that His Word was true. I was so engulfed in His Love and acceptance. I looked a mess. I felt a mess. I was a mess, yet He loved me enough that He made Himself real to me. He spoke to me through His Word, The Bible. And I knew what it said was true. Two days after I got saved I was in the bank line and all of a sudden I felt impressed to pray for the person in front of me and behind me. I thought, wow that’s different, than prayed, knowing that God was listening. Weeks later I wanted to talk to my cousin who was in trouble. I wanted to tell her I loved her and wanted to help. I had no idea where she lived but I got in my car and listened. God led me to her apartment. She later came to live with me. One day she asked me to pray. She had a rash all over her hands. I knew God would heal her. I held her hands and prayed and instantly the rash was gone. Did I still look a mess? I tried to dress more modestly but I wasn’t real good at it. Did I know a lot of scripture? I knew the ones he put in my heart when I read His word and went to church. I had a simple child like faith. Sometimes we become to wise in our own thinking. My Dad used to say, “Your to smart for your own good.” It’s true we look to our good not His good. After all who’s in charge? Who is the one with all the answers? My prayer lately has been, “Bring me back to that year when I was just beginning to know you.” I want to live with that simple child like faith, knowing who’s in charge.

MISSION REPORT
February 6,7 – We were at Joy Fellowship, Pastors Larry & Leslie Roques. Revival, it was great.
February 8-12 – Mardi Gras Outreach was awesome. We had a great team that got to pray for a lot of people in the Quarter. Thank You, Thank You, to Don and Etta Lutz for housing us. You should mark your calendar for next year. Come, it’s fun.
February 10 – Revival Service at Pastors James & Marva DeClouette.
March 8-18 – Biketoberfeat, Daytona Beach, Fl. As always we had Sunday Service in the biker bar. Amazing. We saw many get prayer and receive the Lord. We had a prayer tent in the bar with free bibles, books, pocket crosses and much more.
March 24 – I brought gifts and a word to the homeless at Victory Fellowship.
May 1-5 – Thunder Beach, Panama City Bike Rally. Once again we had a prayer tent set up in a biker venue. When we tell the people that everything in the tent is free they can’t believe it. We can do this because you give to this ministry.
Every Thursday when I’m home I go to Mary Song Restoration Center to share with the women. It’s always a blessing.

CALANDER
June 6-16, Beach Reach Mission Training, Daytona Beach, Florida – There’s room in my car if you want to come along. Or you can fly, Delta has reasonable rates to Daytona. We’ll be having training in evangelism, prophetic art, children’s side walk church, drama, flash mob and lots of soaking in the Presence of the Lord. We’ll be in St Augustine, Deland, The Beach and Boardwalk in Daytona and one day at the water park. Actual dates are 7-14 but I preach Sunday the 16th so I want you to stay. ( For most of these outreaches I’m with my co-worker in Christ, Pastor Frank Gresham. )
July17- 29, Face to Face, Euskirchen, Germany, Pastor Conrad Gilles – We will be teaching in the morning and going to evangelize the streets in the afternoon and have nightly revival services. Come along, it will be great fun.

A big THANK YOU to everyone who supports this ministry. Spreading the good news takes money. Your gifts are tax deductible. You will be rewarded. God says so. Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” Luke 6:38 (NKJ)

News Letter

Dear Friends and Family,

It’s been an amazing few months. In April, the week before Easter, I was able to bring gifts to the homeless that Victory Fellowship busses in every Sunday morning. And Butch Savage who heads up that ministry asked me to share a word. God is good.

I’m still at Mary Song Restoration Center every Thursday counseling with the girls.

April 4-21 Pastor Frank Gresham, Winniefer Ferrell and I were in Uganda with our missionary Aurora Castillo. We ministered in 3 villages in the bush, Busuma with Pastors Godwin and Florence, Busia with Pastor Gedion and Palisa with Pastor Steven. Aurora has churches and schools in each of these villages. She has others but there wasn’t enough time to visit all of them. We hosted Pastoral Conferences and ministered to the children in the schools. Several people got healed and there were reports of many salvations. We encouraged many of the Pastors and Leaders to get into the Bible School that Aurora’s Ministry, AMC, makes available to them. Her teachers are still in need of bikes. I stated in my letter in February, they cost $85 each. I’ve only received money for one. Please pray about supporting this ministry. Mark your check for Aurora .

May 2-6 Pastor Frank and I were in Panama City Thunder Beach Bike Rally . We had the awesome opportunity to speak with many bikers about Jesus. Our brothers, Dean, Tiny and Matt joined with us in ministering. As always we gave away bibles, books, pocket crosses and teaching CD’s.

The rest of May became family month for Norman and I. My oldest son’s daughter, Becca, graduated from Cabrini High School and will be attending South Eastern, Hammond Campus in the fall. And we went to Tennessee to visit our son Kenneth and his family.

June was a rough month for us. My ministry partner and baby brother in the Lord, Frank Gresham, had major back surgery and found out that he has cancer cells, Multiple Myeloma. His radiation treatment of 20 days will be over this week than he will start chemo. We’re believing for total remission by November. Please be in agreement with us. Pastor Frank doesn’t have insurance if you’d like to give mark your check for Frank.

June 15-21 we had Mission Training Beach Reach. Team leaders were, Pastors Frank and Janet Gresham, Frank’s daughter Bethany and her future husband Dave, me and my granddaughter, Becca and Frank’s daughter Haley helped when she wasn’t working. We had 30 all together with Pastors, Teachers and a team from Missouri. Our first morning we had a great Holy Ghost Service and training for witnessing and drama in the historic district of St. Augustine, Fl. The next two days we were on the beach in Daytona. One day we gave out free watermelons and prayer. And the next day we did drama and some fun in the sun. Everyday, whether morning or night, we had great services. In some of the services we taught the team how to use there prophetic gifts on the streets. In another we had one of the Pastors from Calvary Church come share about children’s side walk church. On Tuesday we went to Leah and Jim Richardson’s home. Leah taught on prophetic art and we had an art teacher teach on technique. Each team member was given a blank canvas to paint the vision God had given them. They later explained how God spoke to them. One night we went witnessing on the Board Walk in Daytona Beach. Every day and night was filled with His Presence. We ended the week with a trip to Universal Studio in Orlando and a soaking service that night. Awesome. O almost forgot, everyone was given 3 pocket crosses to give away at Universal and encouraged to pray with people. All in all it was a great time in the Lord. We’re planning for June 2013 already. Come join in on the fun and learn something new.

Calendar 8/9-15 Sturgis Bike Rally, So. Dakota, 8/17, 8/25, 11/5, 11/25 Evangelism Outreach to Saints Tailgate Parties
10/10-14 Thunder Beach Bike Rally, Panama City, Fl. 10/18-21 Biketoberfest, Daytona Beach, Fl. Come have some fun.

Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass. It’s about dancing in the rain.
Don’t worry about tomorrow. It will take care of itself. You have enough to worry about today. Matt. 6:34 (Contemporary English Version)

God Bless,

March 30, 2012

Dear Friends and Family,

In January I decided to read the bible in chronological order. It has reminded me once again of how many laws that Israel had to obey and how free we are because of the blood that was shed for us by Jesus on the Cross of Calvary. His Grace is sufficient. There are laws that were carried over from the old to the new. Deuteronomy 6:5-9 in The Message Bible says, “ Love God, your God, with your whole heart: love him with all that’s in you, love him with all you’ve got! write these commandments that I’ve given you today on your hearts. Get them inside of you and then get them inside your children. Talk about them wherever you are, sitting at home or walking in the street; talk about them from the time you get up in the morning to when you fall into bed at night. Tie them on your hands and foreheads as a reminder; inscribe them on the doorposts of your homes and on your city gates.” In the New Testament the word says in John 15:12 “I’ve told you these things for a purpose: that my joy might be your joy, and your joy wholly mature. This is my command: Love one another the way I loved you. This is the very best way to love. Put your life on the line for your friends. You are my friends when you do the things I command you. I’m no longer calling you servants because servants don’t understand what their master is thinking and planning. No, I’ve named you friends because I’ve let you in on everything I’ve heard from the Father.”

Sometimes when I’m feeding the Homeless or witnessing on the streets of Mardi Gras or helping in a prayer tent at Biker Functions, I’ve realized how hard it is to love the unlovable. They smell, they curse, they drink and drug, they dress inappropriately. They certainly don’t fit into my world. That’s why I go to them. God continues to remind me, I must love, no mater who or how they are.

MINISTRY REPORT
On Sundays mornings Victory Fellowship has a ministry headed by Butch Savage. Busses go into the city to pick up the homeless for service and than there fed lunch. In December before Christmas my granddaughter, Becca and I brought gifts to give to the homeless that came to Victory.

In February on the streets of Mardi Gras we had a team from Missouri. Don and Etta Lutz were so gracious to house us. This year the craziness seemed to start earlier. The crowds were larger so everything was heightened . Where sin abounds, God’s Grace abounds much more. So many people were drawn to the Love of Christ. We were able to pray with many and some gave there hearts to the Lord. Many good seeds were planted.

At the end of February I went with my precious friend Jane Kent and her grandson to the Ozanam Inn on Camp St. in down town New Orleans to help feed the homeless and give out socks and toiletries ( shampoo, tooth brushes, toothpaste, soap, combs ). I put it all in a bag with a Jesus track so it’s easy for them to carry or put in there pocket. All of them are given the blessings of God and sometimes we get to pray with them.

I just got back from Bike Week in Daytona Beach, Fl. with my friend Pastor Frank Gresham. Every year we have a prayer tent set up in a open air biker bar. We’re right in the middle of all of the action. We give away bibles, books, posters but best of all, we pray for so many people. This year one of the bikers that work with us, Ponch, with Walls of Jericho, bought water melons. We blessed everyone in the bar with a slice. Jesus is good. He came for the sinner. We’re now doing 5 biker events a year.

I’m still at Mary Song Restoration Center every Thursday to counsel with the ladies and I’ll be giving gifts to the homeless for Easter at Victory April 1st. April 4th I’ll be leaving for Uganda with Pastor Frank Gresham and Winniefer Farrell to work with Missionary Aurora Castillo. A big thank you to everyone who supports the ministry. Please keep us in your prayers.

Many Blessings and Much Love to You and Yours,
Nancy

NEWS LETTER

February 15, 2012

Dear Family and Friends,

God says in His Word. Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage, and the ends of the earth your possession. Psalms 2:8
A few days ago I was thinking about writing another news letter and God gave me this scripture.

We just added Germany for the month of July and the calendar is filling up fast. Last year we had an incredible time with Pastor Conrad at Face to Face Church. We experienced revival every night and we are looking forward to being back on the streets with our friends where God’s healing power flowed.

The Mardi Gras team will be in town soon and than right after I’ll be going to Bike Week in Daytona Beach , Florida. Call me if you’d like to join us and please keep us in your prayers.

In April Pastor Frank Gresham, Winniefer Farrell and myself will be in Uganda helping Missionary Aurora Castillo. We will be staying in Kampala a short time. Than we will be traveling to the bush, where Aurora has built churches and schools. We will be in the villages of Busuma, Busia or Buwunje and Palisa. While there we will help with a VBI Graduation and Ordinations at the ACM Freedom Centre. We will also have a Leadership Seminar. We will Preach, Teach, Baptize and hold Revivals. As Aurora would say, ”Changing Lives One Family At a Time.”

Our flights will be around $1600. Once on the ground hotels and food are minimal. We’ll need around $700 plus ground transportation. I’d like to pay for all of Aurora’s expenses as well, while we’re there. So if you can help in any way it would be greatly appreciated. We want to help Aurora in everyway that we can. Who knows, we may even be making bricks for the new school. What we need more than anything is your prayers. To see more of what she is doing check her web site, http://www.acmministries.com or check my photo page on my web site, http://www.nancyalonzoministries.org. It’s not to late if you’d like to go just, give me a call me.

Within this next year I will be collecting money to purchase bicycles for the teacher of Aurora’s schools in Uganda. In order to get to school they have to walk 3 to 4 miles one way. The cost for each bike is $85 and they are in need of 18 to take care of the staff. If you would like to give to this fund, mark it on your check.

Remember, God says, “ Give and it will be given to you, good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you give it will be measured back to you.”

Many Blessings and Much Love to you and Yours,
