Dear Friends and Family,

In January I decided to read the bible in chronological order. It has reminded me once again of how many laws that Israel had to obey and how free we are because of the blood that was shed for us by Jesus on the Cross of Calvary. His Grace is sufficient. There are laws that were carried over from the old to the new. Deuteronomy 6:5-9 in The Message Bible says, “ Love God, your God, with your whole heart: love him with all that’s in you, love him with all you’ve got! write these commandments that I’ve given you today on your hearts. Get them inside of you and then get them inside your children. Talk about them wherever you are, sitting at home or walking in the street; talk about them from the time you get up in the morning to when you fall into bed at night. Tie them on your hands and foreheads as a reminder; inscribe them on the doorposts of your homes and on your city gates.” In the New Testament the word says in John 15:12 “I’ve told you these things for a purpose: that my joy might be your joy, and your joy wholly mature. This is my command: Love one another the way I loved you. This is the very best way to love. Put your life on the line for your friends. You are my friends when you do the things I command you. I’m no longer calling you servants because servants don’t understand what their master is thinking and planning. No, I’ve named you friends because I’ve let you in on everything I’ve heard from the Father.”

Sometimes when I’m feeding the Homeless or witnessing on the streets of Mardi Gras or helping in a prayer tent at Biker Functions, I’ve realized how hard it is to love the unlovable. They smell, they curse, they drink and drug, they dress inappropriately. They certainly don’t fit into my world. That’s why I go to them. God continues to remind me, I must love, no mater who or how they are.

MINISTRY REPORT
On Sundays mornings Victory Fellowship has a ministry headed by Butch Savage. Busses go into the city to pick up the homeless for service and than there fed lunch. In December before Christmas my granddaughter, Becca and I brought gifts to give to the homeless that came to Victory.

In February on the streets of Mardi Gras we had a team from Missouri. Don and Etta Lutz were so gracious to house us. This year the craziness seemed to start earlier. The crowds were larger so everything was heightened . Where sin abounds, God’s Grace abounds much more. So many people were drawn to the Love of Christ. We were able to pray with many and some gave there hearts to the Lord. Many good seeds were planted.

At the end of February I went with my precious friend Jane Kent and her grandson to the Ozanam Inn on Camp St. in down town New Orleans to help feed the homeless and give out socks and toiletries ( shampoo, tooth brushes, toothpaste, soap, combs ). I put it all in a bag with a Jesus track so it’s easy for them to carry or put in there pocket. All of them are given the blessings of God and sometimes we get to pray with them.

I just got back from Bike Week in Daytona Beach, Fl. with my friend Pastor Frank Gresham. Every year we have a prayer tent set up in a open air biker bar. We’re right in the middle of all of the action. We give away bibles, books, posters but best of all, we pray for so many people. This year one of the bikers that work with us, Ponch, with Walls of Jericho, bought water melons. We blessed everyone in the bar with a slice. Jesus is good. He came for the sinner. We’re now doing 5 biker events a year.

I’m still at Mary Song Restoration Center every Thursday to counsel with the ladies and I’ll be giving gifts to the homeless for Easter at Victory April 1st. April 4th I’ll be leaving for Uganda with Pastor Frank Gresham and Winniefer Farrell to work with Missionary Aurora Castillo. A big thank you to everyone who supports the ministry. Please keep us in your prayers.

Many Blessings and Much Love to You and Yours,
Nancy

NEWS LETTER

February 15, 2012

Dear Family and Friends,

God says in His Word. Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage, and the ends of the earth your possession. Psalms 2:8
A few days ago I was thinking about writing another news letter and God gave me this scripture.

We just added Germany for the month of July and the calendar is filling up fast. Last year we had an incredible time with Pastor Conrad at Face to Face Church. We experienced revival every night and we are looking forward to being back on the streets with our friends where God’s healing power flowed.

The Mardi Gras team will be in town soon and than right after I’ll be going to Bike Week in Daytona Beach , Florida. Call me if you’d like to join us and please keep us in your prayers.

In April Pastor Frank Gresham, Winniefer Farrell and myself will be in Uganda helping Missionary Aurora Castillo. We will be staying in Kampala a short time. Than we will be traveling to the bush, where Aurora has built churches and schools. We will be in the villages of Busuma, Busia or Buwunje and Palisa. While there we will help with a VBI Graduation and Ordinations at the ACM Freedom Centre. We will also have a Leadership Seminar. We will Preach, Teach, Baptize and hold Revivals. As Aurora would say, ”Changing Lives One Family At a Time.”

Our flights will be around $1600. Once on the ground hotels and food are minimal. We’ll need around $700 plus ground transportation. I’d like to pay for all of Aurora’s expenses as well, while we’re there. So if you can help in any way it would be greatly appreciated. We want to help Aurora in everyway that we can. Who knows, we may even be making bricks for the new school. What we need more than anything is your prayers. To see more of what she is doing check her web site, www.acmministries.com or check my photo page on my web site, www.nancyalonzoministries.org. It’s not to late if you’d like to go just, give me a call me.

Within this next year I will be collecting money to purchase bicycles for the teacher of Aurora’s schools in Uganda. In order to get to school they have to walk 3 to 4 miles one way. The cost for each bike is $85 and they are in need of 18 to take care of the staff. If you would like to give to this fund, mark it on your check.

Remember, God says, “ Give and it will be given to you, good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you give it will be measured back to you.”

Many Blessings and Much Love to you and Yours,

2012

December 31, 2011

Dear Family and Friends,

Jesus said, “I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

2011 has come to a close and now we look forward to 2012. For some of us it’s been a rough year. Some of us have had health issues, some have taken major pay cuts, while expenses have sky rocketed. We’ve lost love ones and new babies have come along. Both good and bad but with most the bad far passed the good. So what does God tell us to do?

In my life the giving issue has always come to the front when any trouble occurs. He always tells me to give more, to give out of my need. Give more love, give more understanding, give more grace. Why? Because I need these things in my life.

Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you give it will be measured back to you.” Luke 6:38

But by far the hardest to give is money especially when you don’t have it. Now I’m not talking about the tithe. For Norman and I the tithe is a law written in our hearts. The first 10% goes to our local church. I’m talking about over and above. Support other ministries that you know are doing what God wants them to do. Support the missionaries, the street evangelist and give to the poor.

At the beginning of December my granddaughter was standing in a check out line at the grocery store. The lady in the front of her began to put items back because she didn’t have the money to pay for them. Becca, my granddaughter, told the cashier to total the items and she paid the remainder ($30). Becca had just lost her part time job but she had been taught the principals of giving from her parents for years. In particular that action had been told to her when she was about 12 years old, by our friend Pastor Frank Gresham. The lady was so blessed and Becca was so excited that she was able to give.

Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that increases to your credit. I have received full payment, and more. I am well supplied, having received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent, a fragrant offering, a sacrifice acceptable and pleasing to God. And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:17-19

Let us all make an effort to turn 2012 around for the good. Become a fragrant offering.

Many Blessings and Much Love to You and Yours,

Dear Family and Friend,

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16

Just recently I’ve had the privilege of teaching many evangelism classes in Germany. This statement came out of my mouth before I could stop it. “I love the world.” Sounds strange doesn’t it. I’m able to love the unlovable because of the Holy Spirit gifts that flow through me. And because I do let the Holy Spirit Gifts flow, miracles happen.

1 Corinthians 12:4-10

While in Euskirchen, Germany we went to the streets everyday to witness. It’s so easy to smile and be friendly. We went with the attitude of blessing whoever we met. One afternoon we met 4 young people standing in the town square. We shared where we were from, talked a little about the church. It became a friendly God centered conversation. Before we walked on we asked if anyone needed prayer. One of the girls had a problem with her left arm and hand. A earlier surgery had stunted her growth. Her left arm was shorter than the right and her hand was smaller. As we prayed we saw her arm and hand grow to the same size. We witnessed God’s Holy Spirit Miracle Working Power. And best of all 2 of the girls came to church and gave there hearts to the Lord.

In Bremen, Germany we did the same except that we had a large outdoor venue in the center of town. So it became revival inside and out. God is Good.

Costa Rica was such a blessing. I had so much fun with a all girl team. We ministered in schools, on the streets and in churches. Pastors Randy and Patty Beckham were wonderful host for the team. Everyday they kept us busy with ministry. One day we ministered to a village of prostitutes and there children. We were able to give toys and leave some clothe. But best of all we gave them Jesus.

July 4, 2011 Update

Hi,
A quick note from Euskirchen, Germany. (Yep, try to pronounce that one.) We have been having a great time. The church leadership is made up of 20 to 30 year olds. There so excited about what Jesus is doing. Face to Face, (church name) is only about 1 year old. They have been in revival since there start. Members come from 45 min. to 1 hour away. Most are trying to move closer to the church. Every week there on the streets witnessing. This week I had a 13 and 17 year old with me. Instead of me training them I felt like I had something to learn. The 13 year old was as good on the streets as anyone I’ve been with.

We’ve been teaching every morning, witnessing in the afternoon and Revival meetings every night. Pastor Frank Gresham just posted some pictures of the communion service last night on face book. You must check it out. We are having a great time but can’t wait to get home to our love ones.

More later, Blessings and Love,

Nancy

P.S.  Check out Facebook for pictures, become a friend of Frank Gresham and Whosoever Ministries.

June 28, 2011 Update

Today we took the day off to go into Amsterdam. We’re staying with Erica Van der Laak in Maarssen. Some of you remember Erica, she gave 4 years of her life to the city of New Orleans. Once again she is taking very good care of a La. resident.

I have heard that a picture of me laying on my back has made it to Facebook. So I must explain. I was sharing at Sunday morning service how I had heard from the Lord.

When in Germany at that big beautiful church in city center in Bremen, Pastor Olaf showed Janet Gresham and I around. He explained to us the history of the church. It was built in the 1200 but mostly destroyed in World War 2. The towns people found a stone of the risen Christ and knew that that was a sign to rebuild. The stone has been set in the ceiling so Jesus is looking down as he is suspended in the air, kind of like He’s flying.

That night when I got back to our hotel I started Reading Luke 1:45. It was a verse Bro. Dick Mills had given me in 09. Blessed is she
( Mary, the Bride ) for there will be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.

The coming Revival is always on my mind. What will it take? What position will we be in?

Than the Lord took me to the story about Elisha raising the son of the Shunammite women from the dead. 2 Kings 4:34 And he went up
and lay on the child, and put his mouth to his mouth, and his eyes on his eyes, and his hand on his hand; and he stretched himself out on the child, and the flesh of the child became warm.

So I began to hear God speak, If we would just give up, total surrender, position ourselves helpless, He would come to His bride, mouth to mouth, eyes to eyes, hand to hand and than He will stretch Himself out on us.

I saw the risen Christ coming to restore His bride Just as He did with the Shunammite. 2 Kings 8:6b

This is why you will see me laying on the floor at Sunday service. I am trying to give up, lay it all down, total surrender.

Blessings and Love,

Nancy

June 25, 2011 Update

We arrived in Bremen Germany on Thursday. It is a beautiful city. Friday afternoon we started an outdoor crusade. We’re in down town Bremen, on the river in front of a church that was built in the 1200. The church was destroyed in the second world war but when the towns people found a stone of the risen Jesus they took that as a sign to rebuild. The original organ was removes with a few other art affects. This church was Catholic originally. It is now the reformed main Church in Bremen. Change came with Martin Luther and the reformation. It is a beautiful old building. Now Pastors feel because the church is in city center that the church must be used by all faiths as evangelical. So we have an outdoor outreach City Center Bremen, Germany. We’re on the river. Our outreach Pastor Kalab is Indian. The residing Pastor is German, Olaf. We also have a African church that is involved. and some Christian rappers. And 3 American, US, sharing the word. God is truly amazing. Last night was the first time in a long while that I was interpreted twice, English to German, German to Indian. Today from 10 t0 5 we were in city center. We’d draw a crowd with singing and than one of us would get up to preach. Tonight we have a service. Again, God is truly amazing.

Blessings and Love,

Nancy

Dear Friends,

Costa Rica was wonderful. As always we went with clothe, candy and toys for the children. We were able to share in 6 school assemblies and in many services. We went out to the streets and did drama and dance and handed out tracks. One day we went to a village that was women, mostly prostitutes, and there children. We prayed for many to be saved. God is Good.

Today I’m on my way to Germany. I’ll be meeting Frank and Janet Gresham. We’ll be teaching in the morning and doing street outreaches in the afternoon and holding revival meetings at night. Please Pray.

Blessings and Love,

Nancy
